A new bridge for Sunderland

JK Property Consultants assisted Sunderland City Council in making the application for Department of Transport approval to fund the Wear River crossing for which planning permission is now awaited.

JK’s involvement was to consider the impact between a bridge of ordinary design, in comparison to a bridge of landmark design.

JK Property Consultants considered the area of land at which each end of the bridge landed and how that area of land would develop in the short, medium, and long-term, with the resultant value growth a landmark bridge would achieve.
